No one will deny that America is in decline and that this free-fall may not stop.  I am not a pessimist, but I understand what the Scriptures say about the end times or potentially the last days before Jesus comes.

My question to you is, are you ready?  Are the things you believe and have been following most of your life securing your place in eternity?  Do you think that this life is all there is?  Do you think you just got here on this earth by chance, or could you be part of a much more complex reality?

You will find that not too many people can answer those questions definitively.  Most people are in a blur we call life and they hope things will work out in the end.  They think that if they are doing the right things in America, that they will be accepted by God.  I want to help answer those questions for you so that you will have no doubt about what choices you must make.

If you believe that we did not just get here by chance and that there is a supreme being associated with all of this, then you have to ask the question:  “Did he leave us some clues?”

Obviously, there is only one book in the entire world that claims to be written by that Supreme Being which we refer to as God.  You may want to search else ware for answers, but good luck with finding some authoritative information.  We can run to the human experts, but what you get there are human answers that are only researched and developed as far as we finite humans can go.  If you look for books that have better information, also written by humans, you will find yourself still questioning what is fact.

I personally go to the only book in the world that claims it was written by God.  You know it, The Bible.  Oh, it’s been around for a long time and we have let the dust collect on its covers, but its truth has never changed.

Oh, men have tried to stamp it out with wars and all their “so-called” intelligence, but it still stands atop the list as number one of all books sold and people’s lives are being challenged and helped by its information.

Let me give you a brief understanding of what it says about you.

It says that God created you for His purposes.  If you don’t like that, good luck in defending yourself against the One Who designed you.

It also says that He loves you and wants the best for you.  Oh, yes, you have to come to Him and take Him at His word.  Where else are you going to go?  SRS?  The government?  Your boyfriend or girlfriend?   Your spouse?  He cares for you and wants to reconcile you to Himself.  It’s your decision.  Your friend or your spouse cannot make that decision for you.  You are on your own.

So, what are you going to do?  Will you keep on like you’ve always done and end up not knowing the future?  What if you died today?  You have no guarantee as to when, just that it is going to happen sometime.  To me, that’s pretty important to settle these future questions now while we still have breath in our body!

If you want to know how to square things with God, read on.  If not, stop and go do some other interesting human activity.

For those of you who want to know, here’s how to make things right with God.  May, I say, it is not through any church or baptism, or good deeds or anything different than what I am about to reveal to you. 

First, God says we all went our own way and did our own thing and corrupted our lives with selfish living, greed, lusts, pride and defiance toward Him.  Since He created us for His purposes, that type of living does not please Him.  But, not to worry, He made a way for you to make things right with Him!

He wants you to talk to Him and tell Him that you are sorry for how you have lived and that you are sorry for not believing in Him.  That opens up the channels to His throne so He will listen to you.  Believe me, there is no other way to get into His throne room except through this door.

Secondly, after we tell Him that we are sorry for our neglect of Him, we need to confess that we believe that His Son, Jesus the Christ, died and rose again to give us this opportunity.  You see, Jesus is the only way to be reconciled (to make peace) with God.  It is so simple, most people stumble over it.  They think they have to go to great lengths, do some great deeds, save the whales, or something else and work to gain God’s favor.  Nothing could be farther from the truth.  That’s what the deceiver wants you to believe along with the big religious groups in order to fatten their pocketbooks.  You see, religion will not save you nor reconcile you to God.  For the most part, religion will lead you away from the truth.  Religion is mostly made up of mans rules and regulations.  Only stake your life upon God’s love letter to you, The Bible.  Do not trust a priest, rabbi, or preacher with your life.  Go directly to the source.  Read the book of John  in the New Testament and you will find the truth revealed simply and clearly.

Listen again, God loves you and wants to adopt you into His family.  Let me quote some of His instructions that will help you identify with what I am saying. 

From the book of John 1:12-13 “But to all who believed Him and accepted Him (Jesus), He gave the right to become children of God.  They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.”   NLT

Now, that’s something you can understand that God said.  Here is another:

John 5:24  Jesus speaking:  “I tell you the truth, those who listen to My message and believe in God who sent Me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life.”  NLT

Does that sound like good news to you?  It is tremendous news!

You will never find real peace in this life until you make your peace with God.  He designed you to be compatible with Him.  That is why so many things we do in life have little satisfaction.  When you begin to do things God’s way, you will finally become complete as a human being.  Right now, you have a void that must be filled and it can only be filled by God.  You have tried many other ways, why not put your faith in the Creator of the Universe.

Remember, America is in decline and someday may not be what she has been in the past as the super power of the world.  Chaos may break out in the streets.  Food may become scarce and gasoline hard to get.  It only signals the end of an era.  When God created you, He made you an eternal being.  Your soul will never die.  The body dies, but we will live on forever in eternity.  Our choice to follow God will determine our eternity. 

Are we living in the end time, the last days?  My answer is yes, definitely.  We must prepare for the future.  God is in control of the universe.  Right now the deceiver, that old fallen angel named Lucifer is running roughshod over the earth, but someday soon, his days will be over and Jesus will reign from Jerusalem and we will have peace.  But, you must be prepared in advance, because once this happens, you will be out of opportunities to make things right with God.  Do it now while you have time to do it.
