Twisting Justice

Twisting Justice

“Both their hands are equally skilled at doing evil! Officials and judges alike demand bribes. The people with influence get what they want, and together they scheme to twist justice.”

‭‭Micah‬ ‭7:3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I normally shy away from certain issues, but in America today I cannot be silent as I see godless people lying and conniving for power. As this verse states, they are skilled at doing evil. People with influence scheme to twist justice.

Are we not seeing that today? Never in my lifetime have I seen such unruly people scheming to get their own way in our congress and senate. I am appalled but not shocked at this display of scrapping and lying to gain power. It is typical of a sinful nature. But it is disgusting to see grown men acting like children arguing and fighting in our houses of government.

Let me state for the record that I am neither Democrat nor Republican but I am a child of Almighty God and I try to follow His instructions. I give honor to our President, whomever he may be and I try to remember each president we may have and pray for God’s guidance. He may not know it, but the LORD turns the leaders heart however He wants. (Proverbs 21:1)

Where is honor today? Is there no one that has any sense of civility. Some on the left want to send care packages to members of congress so they can talk and talk, wasting time so the other party that is in power cannot conduct business. I find all of this disturbing.

Our President causes a lot of turmoil and brings on problems for Republicans so they have to cover his flaws with explanations to their districts. But, as I look at his record in office, I find that he has been a good friend to Christians. He continues to jab the media and so they hate him and they will never give him a compliment on his performance in office. They are acting like children also by presenting all the bad he has done and never giving him credit for positive things.

I fear for our country but I am confident that God is in control. You may not see it, nor I, but He is over all and has control of everything. America has not see the persecution of genuine Christians so most of us are unprepared for what might come. However, I t may come sooner than we expected. My encouragement to you is: Stay in His Word and in prayer, come what may.
