Have you been as shocked as I have been that people want to murder babies after they are born? Or that so many people are fine with socialism and communism which denies God and is atheistic in belief? Or that people are okay with the unnatural act of homosexually and transgenderism? Or that people love Muslims but hate Christians? Or that they love Iran and hate Israel?

I only have to look at the Word of God to see that people just don’t want to follow God or Jesus. Remember, Jesus said that they would hate those who follow and love Him. Folks, we live in perilous times.

I believe we are living in the final days of the church age. Jesus could come any day and we need to be looking for him and paying attention to what He said about the last days. Lawless will increase. People will be lovers of their own selves. Turmoil will happen. Earthquakes will increase. Children will be disobedient to parents. The church will grow cold and indifferent.

Can you see that is happening today? It is not difficult if you stay close to Jesus to recognize that we are in those last days. Look at all the mainline denominations that are embracing homosexuality in their ministers as if it is okay with God. So many of those big denominations reject the inspiration of the Word of God. Many of them do not believe that Jesus is God.

It is going to get worse. That is what the scripture says. It will not get better. Perhaps for a short time we can see some improvement in our country, but it will not last very long.

What can we do? We need to be in the Word every day if possible. We need to pray for our country, our leaders and our president that they will lead with righteous intentions. Keep looking up! Keep your courage because we are the winners because we are with God and God wins in the end and He will judge the unrighteous. Even then, Revelation tells us that men will curse God as He is raining down punishment on them.

In the end, don’t be surprised at what people do. Know that God is faithful and people will continue to hate you and God until Jesus comes.
