We are swiftly approaching Christ’s return. Churches are turning away from the teachings of the Bible and we are constantly seeing Christians in America criticized and called stupid for believing in Jesus Christ. NBA star basketball player Blake Griffin was criticized recently for believing the Bible for what it says about God creating the earth. Today people are demonized for living out their Christian convictions. The secular world in America is now rushing quickly to erase any evidence of God from our society. The Scriptures foretold this kind of problem in the following verses:

 

1Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons,

1Timothy 4:2 through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared,

We are definitely in the last days before Jesus calls His children home to be with Him forever and we know that in the days before that coming, lawlessness and chaos will ensue. Though I desired Him to come in my life time, I did not think He might come so suddenly. However, the Scriptures teach us to be ready, that Jesus could come at any moment. We are to have our lamps filled with oil looking for His return.

The last prophecy to be fulfilled was for the Jews to be in control of Jerusalem and that did not take place until June of 1967 during the Six Days War. This last generational prophecy has been completed and His return is imminent. Speaking of the budding of the fig tree Jesus said:

Matthew 24:34 Truly I say unto you, this generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Jesus coming is imminent and we are to be ready. The Ezekiel invasion is heating up as the players prophesied in the Scriptures are gathering together around Israel in preparation for the end of this age. Take a look at the Middle East. Look at the nations surrounding Israel that hate her and want to annihilate her from the face of the earth. Russia siding with Iran, along with China and the kings of the east all playing an important role in Armageddon, who will all someday invade the little country of Israel and God will come down like a hammer and rescue Israel.

Notice, I did not say the end of this world. Why? Because this world is not going to end, it is just going to be renewed to its original glory as God intended it to be. That would be before Adam sinned and brought down the curtain on paradise. But, that is a subject for another day. It is better referred to as the end of the age, which is the church age or the age of grace where God gives everyone an opportunity to repent before He comes back and separates the wheat from the chaff.

I believe we are seeing the demons of Hell coming out of their pit, having almost free reign to do whatever they desire to do in our country. It has been rapidly approaching for many years and we are beginning to see the head of the Serpent making his slimy way across America. You cannot turn your back on God and not expect consequences and our country is seeing the beginning of the birth pains of its downfall both economically and spiritually. It is only God Who upholds a nation and if that nation forsakes Him, nothing can save it.

Those of you who may not study prophecy or those who have their head in the sand and will not listen to the rumble of the horse’s hooves getting closer and closer are going to be overtaken suddenly without warning.

Our public schools are rewriting American history and dumbing down American students. Many of our young people are the product of godless teachers in our public universities who want no God and no morality. Yes, I know, there are many godly teachers, but they are a small minority today and their lips have been shackled by godless regulations as the devil swoops in to steal the minds of our children.

Churches who once taught Biblical morality have compromised with the secular world and dropped their standards of righteous living. Adopting the world’s principles of living has made the church powerless to help people where they need help. We think that if we love everybody and serve in soup kitchens we are fulfilling the will of God. There is no evangelism anymore and old fashioned revivals have gone the way of the Model T.

Our children are also the byproduct of godless parents who have forsaken the Bible and its morality. Our children are also the byproduct of churches who do not preach the whole Bible, but pick out bits and pieces to keep their flock feeling good about themselves instead of them being convicted of sin in their lives. These children are the byproduct of churches who have forsaken the Word of God and preached heresy. Our children are the byproduct of churches who have not preached that Jesus is coming again and yet, someday, we will all have to stand before Him and answer for the lives that we have lived.

What is the remedy for all of this chaos? Read God’s Word. Repent of your sins. Pray without ceasing. Hold on to what’s right no matter what comes your way while trusting God to carry you through. Let the joy of the Lord be your strength and REJOICE THAT JESUS IS COMING AGAIN!!!! He did not leave us defenseless or without hope. If you only hope in this world, you are among the most miserable of all people, but if your hope is in the Lord Jesus Christ, then your joy will never be taken away from you.
