Do you try to read your Bible daily but perhaps sometimes miss a day or so? Do you shape your day around His Word and holiness, that is, do you intend to honor Christ in all you do? Do you thank God daily for your food and all His provisions? Do you instantly think of God’s blessing when good things happen knowing that every good gift comes from His provision and blessing on your life? Do you not worry constantly about things you cannot change, but trust God to know your situation and believe He will walk with you through it and preserve your joy? Do you find that you love God more each day? Do you find that you are loving your brothers and sisters more each day even though some may make it difficult for you? Does your life uphold God’s truth through your thoughts and actions? Do you sense within yourself a forgiving nature knowing that God has forgiven you of some of the very same things you see others doing?

You can grade yourself. This list may not be complete but my desire is to help you think about your walk with God. No one but Jesus walked a perfect life. Some day you will be free from that old sinful nature that makes life difficult. But, in the meantime, take a chill pill and give yourself a break and keep working for His glory. It is a daily work in progress and will continue until you meet Jesus face to face.
